We've been Lizzy and Ava's foster family for one week now. We've had several inquiries about adoption but no serious takers. We're growing so attached to these girls so someone better hurry up and take them!

Searching For Shark Teeth
The temps hit the 70's over the weekend so we spent as much time as possible outdoors enjoying this glimpse of spring weather. We spent an entire morning at Cove Inlet searching for shark teeth and found this beauty among many cool shells. I love mornings like this!

Bottles and Brushes Part IV
Last night "The Girls" and I got together for another fun evening at Bottles and Brushes for some drinking, painting and laughing.
The painting was a Charleston Shrimp Boat.
I named mine USS Rya D. and signed it "Mom".

The Ultimate Girls' Night In Vendor Blender
I hosted the Ultimate Girls' Night In Vendor Blender at my house over the weekend. We mingled, drank, snacked and shopped for products from Thirty-One Gifts, Passion Parties, Shealy Skin Care, It Works, Fine Garnish, Silpada Designs, Pampered Chef, Swiss Just, Ella Gamba Photography and Pilates V Studio. It was a successful evening filled with incredibly fun camaraderie and lots of laughs. Can't wait for the next one!
Puppy Fostering
We're fostering two Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer Mix seven-week-old female puppies for the Charleston Animal Society. Currier named them Lizzy and Ava. Today is day 3 and we're finally getting into a little routine with our new family members. If anyone is interested in adopting one of these sweethearts, please contact me or the Charleston Animal Society.

Say Ahh
It's funny how both of my kids act like I'm stabbing them when I brush and floss their teeth at home but at the dentist they sit still and act like perfect angels.

Flag Football Season Kick Off
We kicked off another season of flag football on Daniel Island on a very chilly and windy Saturday morning. Currier is on the Wildcats team and they wiped the field with the opposing team's asses! Just kidding... there's no score keeping. To prevent tears, everyone gets a chance to run a touchdown and everyone gets a chance to pull a flag. The kids love it!

Trent's 39th Birthday
Last night we had a simple celebration for Trent's 39th birthday: Steak bombs, chips and worms and dirt cupcakes. One more year till the big 40... I promise to have something a little more exciting planned for next year, Trent. Enjoy the last year of your thirties. We love you!
