Currier's First Painting

Yesterday Currier took his first acrylic on canvas painting class at Bottles and Brushes.  He painted me a rocket ship for my birthday.  

He took this very seriously!  The instructor said, "I have a feeling I'm going to be seeing a lot of this kid!"

Bottles and Brushes Part VI

Tonight all the girls from East Shore Athletic Club got together to celebrate our good friend, Ella Gamba.  Ella is leaving us in a few weeks to move to Wisconsin.  Ella is one the most talented, gorgeous, funniest and kindest friends I've ever had.  I'll miss her dearly.  I'll especially miss our runs (thanks for always pushing me, Ella) and her wit.  

We all brought an appetizer and loads of booze to share while we painted Four Trees with Reflection.

It was one of the best classes I've been to at Bottles and Brushes.  I'm going to miss my sweet Russian friend, Ella.  Best of luck on your new adventure.  Da sveedaneeya. 

Bottles and Brushes Part V

Last night I went to Bottles and Brushes to paint my rendition of Rainbow Row. 

It was a lovely evening spent with lovely people.  I can't wait for the next class.

Bottles and Brushes Part IV

Last night "The Girls" and I got together for another fun evening at Bottles and Brushes for some drinking, painting and laughing.

The painting was a Charleston Shrimp Boat.

I named mine USS Rya D. and signed it "Mom".

To celebrate my 37 years on earth, the girls and I got together for another Bottles and Brushes class.  My cousin Cheryl was here visiting for this one so it was super silly.  

We painted a Sunset over the Battery. 

I painted this one for Currier.  I know it's no dragon, but it'll do!

This month we did the Palmetto Palm at Bottles and Brushes.

It was a great group of fun ladies with mad painting skills!

Friday Favorites- Bottles and Brushes

I finally tried Bottles and Brushes.  It's a BYOB art class! 

It was the perfect Girls' Night Out.  Both fun and relaxing. 

Not a bad Lowcountry Marsh for a drunk girl!
