It's Strawberry Season! I took the kids strawberry picking at Boone Hall Plantation this morning. We got a giant bucketful of delicious ripe strawberries for $8. 
We're having strawberry shortcake for dessert tonight!

If I had strawberries that looked that good, I'd have strawberry shortcake for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love it!
DAMN YOU WOMAN!! Will you stop with the summery posts and have some pity for the poor souls who are still dealing with the cold and the rain!!! Errrrr I had my HEAT on last night!! (Ok, I'm sort of a wimp!) BUT I WANT SUMMER. NOW. NOW. NOW. GO AWAY SPRING AND BRING ME THE SUN!!!! I don't care about the showers and the flowers, I want the BEACH baby!
