Making Friends

John and Kathrine, 3-year-old twins, live across the street from us and Currier adores them. We met them before we even bought our house. They came over and introduced themselves while we were looking at the house and their smiling faces helped seal the deal. At least once a day Currier asks to play with "the kids".

911- From Preschool to Prison

Yesterday Currier was over the neighbors house playing with their 6-year-old twins and the three of them thought it would be a good idea to call 911.  Not once but 20 TIMES!  Currier is punished for two weeks.  No games, toys, TV, bike rides or dessert.  We also made him write this letter to the Mount Pleasant Police Department apologizing for wasting their valuable resources.  He will hand deliver this tomorrow.  The child is barely out of preschool and already a felon!   

Cooling Off

The temps are already soaring here in Charleston. After some sweaty finger painting in the driveway, we filled a plastic tub with water. While Currier and the twins, Kathrine and John, took a dip in the Ghetto Pool, Rya dozed in her swing and my neighbor, Jill, and I drank coffee in lounge chairs and caught some rays—Hallelujah, summer is finally here!
