Riverbanks Zoo & Garden

Today we went to the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Columbia. It was about a two hour drive for us and well worth it. Currier got to see many of the animals that we've been reading about in his bedtime books. His favorite was the elephants and even got to see one poop, which made a BIG impression on Currier. The rest of the day Currier would imitate the elephant's trumpeting sound and then say in a disgusted voice, "caca".

What a fun time! Great pictures! I wish I could see an elephant poop! J/K! And it looks like Currier's easter egg is starting to go away--poor little guy! Don't worry, Ella's all bumps and bruises right now too since she is always walking into things, tripping, and hurling herself at things without a second thought! Must be this age, man!

Ciao!

I know you really want to see an elephant poop! Yeah, Currier's Easter egg is slowing healing. There is just a little yellow bruise left now. I'm glad to hear that Currier is not the only toddler hurting himself. I was starting to worry that maybe my little boy was a BIG klutz!
